About this opportunity

The Ethno Mobility programme provides scholarships covering travel expenses, participation fees and visa costs for young musicians who face a significant financial barrier to joining one of the 30-plus Ethno camps worldwide. It is aimed at musicians aged 18 to 30 in folk and traditional music, and the scholarship is intended for those who would otherwise be unable to attend. Two things to understand before applying. First, you do not choose your camp: scholarships are allocated across Ethnos worldwide according to the overall needs and balance of the programme, and if selected you receive a placement offer matched to your musical profile and the dates you are available. Second, meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee a scholarship. It is also strictly one-time, so previous recipients from 2019 to 2026 are excluded. DEADLINE NOT PUBLISHED BY THE ORGANISER: the announcement of 25 September 2026 says applications are open but gives no closing date, and the Apply link leads only to the organisation Linktree, so the 15 February 2027 date here is an estimate and is labelled as such. Check the current form or email mobility@ethno.world for the real cut-off before relying on it.
