About this opportunity
Sena reserves 3 percent of all distributed neighbouring-rights income for funds, and part of that goes to social and cultural projects (SoCu), which helps event organisers ensure musicians receive a fair fee for their performances. It is open to musicians and producers as well as companies and foundations, for releasing music independently or organising a musical event. Sena publishes no application rounds, no deadlines and no maximum award for SoCu, so treat the amount as unspecified and contact Sena before budgeting. The application form is only available in Dutch, though Sena states you may submit your answers in English. The separate Sena Music Production Fund (MPF) covers contributions towards recordings and has its own three rounds a year.
