Former division winners cannot re-enter the same division. Works for one to five players, up to 15 minutes, not commercially published; up to four entries at $35 each.
About this opportunity
Annual competition for young U.S. composers in two age divisions. First-prize works receive $1,000, a recording, and performances in New York (Tribeca New Music 2027 Festival) and Chicago (Access Contemporary Music's The CheckOut). Registration opens 15 October 2026; submit online by 11pm EST on 8 January 2027 ($35 per work, up to four). Winners announced 19 February 2027.
