Black Artists Grant
Offered by Creative Debuts
Who can apply
UK-based Black artists working in any creative discipline, including music. No age limit; one application per person.
About this opportunity
A monthly rolling grant from Creative Debuts for UK-based Black artists, open to all creative disciplines including musicians. Recipients are chosen monthly and each receives 500 pounds. There is no deadline, no age limit, and the grant expects no outcomes or reporting. Apply once only: applications are kept and reviewed, so an application made in one month remains eligible for selection in a later month. Applicants are not informed if unsuccessful. The organiser is explicit that this is for artists of Black heritage who identify as Black.

Know who's reviewing — and what has won before.
For opportunities approaching their deadline, Pro members get a researched briefing: who sits on the jury, what they care about, and what past winning projects looked like. Briefings are prepared roughly 5 to 10 weeks before each deadline, while there's still time to shape your application.
