About this opportunity
From 2025 the Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation has focused on funding for youth projects, supporting twenty musical projects aimed at children and young people with EUR 25,000 each per year. The funding encourages active participation and creativity and aims to build an appreciation of musical content in young people, with particular interest in integrating contemporary and modern music and in projects that reach a broad audience rather than only the already musically inclined. Applications for the next round open on 1 July 2027 and the deadline is 1 October 2027 at 2 p.m. CEST, with projects able to begin any time from 1 January 2028. A jury assembled specifically for the programme makes the selection. ON A CONFUSING NOTICE ON THE ORGANISER PAGE: a banner reads that the deadline was moved up to 2:00 p.m. CEST on October 1, 2026. That refers to the 2026 round, which has now closed, and to the time of day rather than the year.
