About this opportunity

This Italian public fund — run by SIAE with the Ministry of Culture under the "Per Chi Crea" programme — pays toward producing and promoting a brand-new, previously unpublished work, with music one of six eligible art forms alongside visual art, performing and multimedia art, film, dance and books. It's aimed at young talent: the creator behind the work has to be under 35 and either resident in Italy or an Italian citizen living abroad.

You don't apply as the artist yourself — the application comes from a public or private entity (which can be an individual, including the artist's own sole proprietorship) proposing the project on the creator's behalf. The grant isn't a flat fee; it covers a share of the costs you put forward in the budget, up to a ceiling the call sets for your sector, drawn from a total pot across all six sectors of just over €4.1 million.

Applications open 14 September and close at 14:00 on 29 October 2026, submitted through the bandiperchicrea.it platform with the documentation the call lists in its Article 7 — the guidelines don't summarise that checklist on the main page, so it's worth reading in full before you start. Every application first passes an administrative check, then goes to an independent panel of outside experts for substantive review. Results are due by 1 March 2027.
