About this opportunity
Perform Europe pays for finished performing-arts work to tour across European borders, and this third round covers touring between March 2027 and January 2028. Read one eligibility line before investing any time in it: each proposal must include at least one performing-arts work, and the call explicitly excludes live music and opera. Musicians and composers normally reach this money as collaborators on theatre, dance, circus or interdisciplinary productions rather than as the touring act themselves.
Applications come from partnerships, not individuals. You need at least three partners legally based in at least three different Creative Europe countries — the 27 EU member states plus 14 others — and the work must be presented in at least three of them. Production costs for new creations are not covered: the piece must already be finished, or exist as a concept ready to be staged in different contexts.
Grants come in three sizes — €15,000, €25,000 and €55,000 — with sustainability and accessibility top-ups of up to €5,000 in total on top, capped at €60,000 overall. €1.4 million is being shared across at least 25 partnerships, and 5% is reserved for proposals involving Ukrainian partners or supporting Ukraine's performing-arts sector.
Proposals go in through the Perform Europe website by 22 October 2026, 23:59 CEST. Each must choose one of two priorities — inclusion and diversity, or fighting climate change — and address the other alongside it, while demonstrating quality, innovation and fair working practices. A matchmaking platform exists for finding partners.
