About this opportunity

Perform Europe pays for finished performing-arts work to travel across borders — an existing production, or an artistic concept ready to be staged in new contexts, presented in at least three Creative Europe countries. It funds the touring, not the making: production costs for new creations are explicitly out.

Musicians should read one condition before investing time. Each proposal must include at least one performing-arts work, and live music and opera are excluded. Composers, performers and sound artists working inside theatre, dance, circus, outdoor arts or interdisciplinary productions are in scope; a band planning a European tour is not.

Applications come from partnerships, not individuals — a minimum of three partners legally based in at least three of the 41 Creative Europe countries. Any performing-arts professional or organisation based in those countries can be a partner, and there is a matchmaking platform for finding them.

You pick one of three grant sizes: 15,000, 25,000 or 55,000 euros. On top of that you can request up to 5,000 euros for accessibility and sustainability needs, capped at 60,000 euros overall. The round shares 1.4 million euros across at least 25 partnerships, with 5% reserved for proposals involving Ukrainian partners or the Ukrainian sector.

Applying means registering on the Perform Europe site and submitting a joint proposal with a budget, a cooperation agreement between partners, and a co-financing commitment letter — so some money from elsewhere is expected. Each proposal leads on either inclusion and diversity or the fight against climate change while addressing the other, and assessors also weigh quality, innovation and fair working practices. This round closes 22 October 2026 at 23:59 CEST.
