About this opportunity
The Elite Grant is Koda Kultur's biggest single push for established Danish music creators: money for a long-term project that could move a career up a level. In practice that usually means a serious international campaign built on travel and promotional work, or a real step-change in activity in the Danish market. The stated aim is to grow Danish rights income and exports, so the case you make should be about what the project earns back.
You need to be a Koda member as an author with at least DKK 150,000 in Koda income over the last three years. Short of that figure, you can still apply by showing you are involved in a project aimed at a broad commercial market — Danish and preferably international — with a release out or in the pipeline. A label or manager can apply on your behalf with power of attorney. If you received this grant last year, you cannot apply this year.
Awards are usually DKK 50,000 to 150,000. Most project costs are eligible; general operating expenses such as fixed studio costs or salaries are not, and neither are per diems.
The form asks for a project description of up to 1,500 characters, your collaborators, a budget and a schedule. You attach a CV or short bio, up to three MP3s, and your Koda earnings for the past three years. A three-person committee decides and replies go out in January. A single project can only be funded once across the Koda Kultur pools, though separate phases of the same project can each be supported. The deadline is 12 November 2026 at 15:00.
