LIT Music Awards
Offered by LIT Music Awards
About this opportunity
A paid-entry international competition run by International Awards Associate, spanning seven programmes: music, music video, songwriting, album, instrumentalists, music marketing and music influencers. Open to anyone anywhere — emerging or established artists, songwriters, composers, instrumentalists, video creators, audio professionals, agencies, labels and publishers — provided the work was produced after 1 January 2022.
Be clear about what this is. There is no prize money. What winners get is recognition: a certificate, a digital badge, a dedicated page on the site, a press release template, and social and editorial features that scale with placing. Only the two top tiers, LIT of the Year and Category Winner of the Year, receive the statuette; other winners may buy one. There are no acceptance fees on winning.
Entry costs money and the price climbs through four windows. In the 2026 Season 2 cycle a first entry is $90 at early bird, rising to $120 in the final extension window closing 16 September 2026; additional categories are cheaper than additional entries, and a bundle of three credits is $240. Fees are non-refundable, including on withdrawn entries. Results are announced on 6 November 2026.
Submitting is quick: a link to the work on YouTube, Spotify, SoundCloud or Vimeo, plus a synopsis of roughly 350 words, with a translation for non-English entries. Judges score out of 100, blind and without comparing entries against each other, on innovation and originality, content, artistic mastery across composition, vocals and instrumental playing, production quality, impact and overall performance. Anything averaging under 50 receives no award, and a category may produce several winners or none.
