About this opportunity

The .ART Award is a global creative prize marking ten years of the .ART domain, open to music, performance, visual art, digital art and poetry alike, with no nationality or residency restrictions and no entry fee — the one unusual requirement is that every entry needs to live on its own .ART domain name, which you register and point at a website, portfolio or even an existing social media profile. You can submit more than once if each entry gets its own domain.

Total prizes run over $50,000: a $15,000 cash Grand Prize, three international artist residencies (in France, Spain and Georgia), a showcase on Times Square screens, an augmented-reality-specific grant, a premium .ART domain, and editorial coverage in art media. Anyone 18 or older can apply, working in any art form or background.

What you submit, on your linked domain, is three things: a short biography of at least 100 words putting your practice in context, clear documentation of the work itself (images, video or 3D files, with technical details like medium and dimensions), and a written or short video account of how and why you made it. Everything needs to be in English.

Submissions close November 1, 2026, with semi-finalists named November 6, finalists November 20, and winners announced December 3 at Art Basel Miami Beach. The jury doesn't publish a scoring rubric beyond judging the completeness and quality of those three submitted elements.
