Another organisation-facing call rather than an artist-facing one, and worth understanding before you spend time on it. PICE Residencias supports Spanish entities that run residency programmes, covering the cost of hosting a Spanish or Spain-resident creator; music is one of ten eligible disciplines. Crucially, the resident must already have been chosen by the host before the application goes in. This is not a way to apply for a residency place — it is how a host funds a place it has already offered you. Only bodies legally and fiscally constituted in Spain may apply; individuals cannot. The host must co-finance at least 30 per cent of the budget, meaning it can ask AC/E for no more than 70 per cent. Within an annual cap of 20,000 euros per entity, up to 5,000 euros may be requested per resident per month of residency, and that ceiling still applies to stays shorter than a month. Eligible costs include accommodation, subsistence, travel, internal transport, production, the public presentation of the work, publications and recording. The application needs a dossier on the residency programme, the resident's CV and portfolio, and a motivation letter from the resident. Of 100 points, 35 go to the resident — CV, proposed project, and above all the reasons for wanting this particular residency — and 30 to the host, with extra weight for programmes in rural areas or towns under 50,000 people. The 2026 national residencies pot is 270,000 euros. Phase 3 covers residencies starting on or after 1 November 2026. Everything is in Spanish.
