Region Skåne – Projektstöd till kultur (Autumn 2026 round)

Region Skåne's project support is regional funding for professional cultural life in Skåne, southern Sweden, and music sits alongside every other art form. The stated purpose is a richer, more varied cultural life: a wider range of expressions, voices and working methods, and more chances for people across the region to make, experience and take part in art. Concerts, productions, festivals and development work all fall within scope, provided you work professionally. There are two rounds each year, spring and autumn. The autumn 2026 round opens on 7 August and closes at 12:00 noon on 4 September — applications must be in before midday to register as received — with decisions communicated in mid-November. You apply through the region's e-service at ansokan.skane.se. No maximum grant is published; the region lists every award it has made in recent years, which is the most reliable guide to a realistic ask. Co-financing is expected rather than optional: the guidance devotes a section to why Region Skåne requires other funders alongside it, so build a budget with partners in it.
