Who can apply
Irish citizens living anywhere in the world, or artists normally resident on the island of Ireland, aged 18 or over, working in any creative discipline. Not open to students, or to anyone who held a CCI residency in the past five years. Groups may apply, and each member must meet the criteria. Applicants for partner residencies must also meet any partner-specific requirements, but note that the 2027 partner list is not yet published and will include fewer partners than usual, so the Music Network strand for musicians resident in the Republic of Ireland cannot be assumed this round.
About this opportunity
A month living and working at the Centre Culturel Irlandais in Paris, with accommodation, an 800 euro monthly stipend and up to 300 euro towards travel. The residency is open to artists in any discipline, music included. The 2027 call opens in early December 2026 and closes on 14 January 2027, awards are announced in early May, and residencies run June to December 2027. PARTNER RESIDENCIES NOT CONFIRMED FOR 2027: in past years the programme has included a Music Network Music Performance Residency for musicians resident in the Republic of Ireland, but the CCI states that for the 2027 programme it will work with a smaller number of partners than usual, a temporary reduction during the implementation of its new framework, and the partners are not named until the call opens. Do not count on the Music Network strand being offered this round; check the call when it opens in early December. Applying for a partner residency does not exclude you from consideration for a general CCI residency, and groups may apply provided each member meets the criteria. Separately, the CCI is currently seeking expressions of interest from artists and arts professionals to join its independent selection panel, with a deadline of Tuesday 27 October at 18.00 CET.
