About this opportunity

A Nordic Council of Ministers programme for cross-border projects run with and by children and young people up to the age of 30. Music fits when it is a collaborative project rather than a career move: a camp or festival with workshops, a network meeting, a conference or training course, or creative output such as a campaign, a recording, digital content or an artwork that builds awareness of young people's rights. It will not fund work already carried out, commercial projects meant to turn a profit, or routine running costs such as equipment and salaries unconnected to the project.

You cannot apply as an individual. Applicants are organisations, municipalities, institutions, associations or networks with a corporate identity number; the lead must be based in the Nordic Region and either consist of, or have experience of involving, young people. Sports organisations are excluded. You need at least three Nordic countries, or two if one of them is Greenland, Iceland, the Faroe Islands or Aland. Partners from Sapmi and the Baltics can take part, but only Nordic partners count towards the minimum.

Up to EUR 50,000 for three or more countries, EUR 10,000 for two. It is match-funded: at least 15 per cent must come from elsewhere, and in-kind contributions such as volunteer time count.

Applications go through the online portal with the compulsory budget template and evidence of the partnership. Assessors weigh how genuinely young people shape the project, the strength of the Nordic co-operation and the fit with Vision 2030; including under-represented young people helps. Deadline 2 October 2026, 15:59 Finnish time, with activity starting no sooner than eight weeks after.
