About this opportunity

Read the eligibility line first, because it decides everything: PICE Visitantes is not something an individual musician can apply for. Only organisations legally and fiscally constituted in Spain and able to issue invoices may apply, and what they apply for is the cost of bringing international programmers, bookers, curators and other decision-makers to an event in Spain so that those people encounter Spanish artists and go on to programme them at home. If you are an artist, your route in is through a festival, showcase or venue that applies with you in its programme. Music and sound creation is one of ten covered disciplines, with an indicative 150,000 euros of a 1.2 million euro annual pot. For music the eligible costs are narrow: travel, accommodation, subsistence, internal transport and simultaneous or consecutive interpreting. An organisation may request up to 20,000 euros per event and area, and no more than 2,000 euros per visitor. Applications are made in Spanish through AC/E's online system and require the entity's legal and tax documents, a project dossier, an agenda for each visit and an authorised CV for each visitor. Scoring runs to 100 points — 55 for the applicant and the event, 30 for the visitor's profile and their capacity to programme in their own country, 15 for budget coherence. Fifty points is the floor, and reaching it guarantees nothing; awards depend on the budget left in each area. Events that put international programmers in front of emerging Spanish artists score higher, as do visitors from countries AC/E has flagged as strategic. Phase 3 covers projects starting on or after 1 November 2026 and finishing before 28 February 2027.
