Ibermúsicas 2026 – Grants (multiple categories)

Ibermusicas runs a batch of calls that open and close together, so it pays to read the whole list before choosing one. The 2026 round covers international travel for musicians and other music professionals; travel money for programmers who want to bring artists to their festival, venue, orchestra or school; residencies of at least three weeks, applied for either by the artist or researcher or by the host institution; advanced study, whether at an institution or privately with a master of popular music; virtual projects such as album recording, videoclips, streamed shows, workshops and podcasts; and high-quality recordings of works from the Ibero-American score catalogue. Alongside these sit special calls with Mid Atlantic Arts, Emilia-Romagna and the Portuguese-speaking CPLP countries, plus prizes for songwriting and symphonic composition.

Eligibility runs on nationality or certified residency in a member country, and the exact country list differs line by line, so check the guidelines for the one you want. Everyone involved needs a free profile in the Ibermusicas catalogue, must be current with tax and legal obligations, and must supply signed invitation letters from the hosts abroad. One application per project per line.

Most lines fund a specific cost rather than a whole project. The circulation call, for example, pays only for air, land or river travel between countries and between cities on a tour, capped at USD 10,000 (EUR 10,000 from Spain and Portugal), and partial awards are normal. Applications are online and in Spanish, closing 1 October 2026 at 23:59 local time, with results on 27 November.
