ROSA – International transport funding (rock/pop/hiphop/electronica)

ROSA funds the cost of getting Danish rock, pop, hip hop, electronica and related acts to international concerts, tours and collaborations — and of getting international partners to Denmark — covering plane, train, ferry and car travel, plus local transport once you're there. It's reimbursement rather than a lump sum: you're paid back for actual, documented travel costs up to whatever is granted, not handed cash upfront, and there's no stated maximum or match-funding requirement. A mileage sheet and fuel receipts cover private cars; rental cars need the rental and fuel receipts.

It doesn't cover artist fees, hotels, per diems, recording, marketing or competition entry costs, and ensembles that already receive operating support from elsewhere aren't eligible. You need to be a composer, musician, orchestra or manager based in Denmark with a NemID and NemKonto, and you can only apply to one of Denmark's four genre-specific transport funds (ROSA, JazzDanmark, Tempi, Art Music Denmark) per project.

Applying means submitting online before the trip happens: a short purpose statement (600 characters), an optional longer note on PR or planned meetings, a tour plan with dates and places, a budget typed directly into the form, and music links. A committee weighs the project's development potential and artistic quality, favours full tours over one-off concerts, and checks that the budget is realistic and makes the most of the funded trip. There are four deadlines a year, the next falling on 20 November 2026.
