II Certamen Musical Juvenil Sanferfest 2026

A live-music competition run by the youth department of San Fernando de Henares, on the eastern edge of Madrid, now in its second year. Ten acts are picked to play the final, outdoors at Parque Dolores Ibárruri, and the audience decides the winners by voting on the day through a QR-code system.

It is open to solo artists and bands aged between 12 and 30 who live anywhere in the Comunidad de Madrid — not just in the town itself. No genre restriction is stated. Registration is online only and closes at 23:59 on 1 September 2026; selected acts are told by email on 10 September, and the final takes place on 25 September from 17:00.

To enter you submit a completed and signed registration form, identity documents, a sample video and your technical requirements for the performance. The youth team makes the shortlist, weighing originality, creativity, stage presence and technical quality.

The prizes are modest and concrete: €600 for first place, €200 for second, and for third, a year of free rehearsal-room access — four hours a week, Monday to Saturday, which for a young band in the area is arguably the most useful of the three.
